M.O.C.K-ing Is Not a Bad Thing!

You have to love the tattoo layer. It opens up so many more avenues when it comes to skin and hair and more. I have been part of the M.O.C.K cosmetic group for a few months now. Mocksoup Graves does charge a small fee to join, but her generosity of gifts makes it more then worth it.

Today in Group Chat she mentioned that she has a couple of eyelash tattoos. In the 4 years in SL I have worn prim lashes, but adjusting them is so time consuming if you want to have a different lash look.

I immediately TP'd over to the store to check them out.

Currently she has 2 styles, Pandora and Victorina. Each has a Noir and one that you can tint. I have featured them on my Gala Skin (Yum- Sundust Light - Cranberry)

Here is the Before, I am wearing an alpha to hide my system lashes and you can see that there is a more natural looking lash on the skin itself.

If Lady Macbeth lived in Second Life today she would never curse this creation by Chop Zuey Couture Jewelry! Trust me when I say, this is no ordinary spot!

Out Damned Spot! is a sharp and edgy design from Belle Roussel, owner and creator Chop Zuey. The brushed silver collar necklace is set with black moonstones with large black crystal balls dangling from the bottom edge. A smaller version of the collar graces the wrist in bracelet form while geometric shaped brushed silver earrings include a single dangling black crystal.
Belle Roussel inspired me to step outside my comfort zone and present Out Damned Spot! wrapped in a haute couture ribbon of sorts. A quite Grave wrapping, too! I have always wanted to go shopping at Graves Leather/Latex/Metal and now this gave me the perfect excuse. Savage, the strappy design from Graves, jumped up a screamed 'Take me home'. How could I resist?

No ordinary shoes would do to finish off this outfit, so I found Raptor, my favorite pair of Mea Culpa shoes. An exclusive skin from sYs and one of Miamai hair pieces and I am transformed. Thank you Belle!

KaliKo Celebrates the 4th of July

My friend Kaliope Karas saw a need and has been working to fill it. For those that like to roleplay in Victorian or Wild West sims there seemed to be a lack of simple, well constructed day dresses. Her latest is her Summer Day Series, her colors are based on flowers. Below see her Rose and Sunflower and Carnation. Call me lazy, but I just had her send her advert copy since she did such a lovely job on them. Her gowns are pretty similar, but she has improved on it and added more pattern options. Gowns come with 3 top styles with Jacket and Shirt layers and the skirt comes with or without the Apron, I look foward to see what more she has in store.

How Many Frogs Must I Kiss?

Once upon a time, in a land called Stance, there lived a Fashion Princess. In this land of poses and props the Fashion Princess found a lonely frog surrounded by a dense forest, seated upon a rock.

Sad and lonely herself, the Fashion Princess sat down beside the frog and they began to talk. The frog praised her beauty and grace, exclaiming she was the fairest in the Kingdom. The Fashion Princess smiled and said that her soft and silky skin shone because of the hard working people of Glam Affair. The artistry of her hair was woven by Tukinowaguma. And her eyelashes were shaped and molded by [ glow ] studio. The small frog croaked his approval.


The frog's eyes moved over her enticing dress and leered at the tight fitting bodice, revealing skirt and exotic shoes. The Fashion Princess proudly announced her dress was hand stitched by the famous eXxEsS couturier and her shoes shaped upon her feet by Sim I Lar Italian Footwear.


Finally, the lonely frog begged for a kiss from the Fashion Princess. Moved to pity by the frog's forlorn and poignant pleas, the Fashion Princess lifted the sad frog from the rock and brought him to her lips.


Has the Fashion Princess found her true Prince or must she kiss frog after frog before finding true love? There is one pose left that only her Prince can share.

For all anti-Valentine prone fashionistas, may I present my version of Cupid. Beware this Cupid's arrows, for they do not bring tidings of love.



















In the post-Apocalyptic world of The Wasteland, Cupid does not search for love, but survival. While there I barely escaped alive when confronted by a Ghoul. If you enjoy an extraordinary roleplay experience, check out The Wasteland.


The Wasteland is an incredibly detailed and conceived themed SIM. It is worth the time to check out this SIM just for the amazing landscaping. Take your time and really look around.
